Ways of Seeing (2018) is a series of nine interactive collages created from two issues of Life Latin America magazine acquired during a trip to Buenos Aires in 2016. Although published as a Latin American edition, the magazine’s editorial content was produced entirely in the United States, revealing a publication that addressed the continent while rarely speaking from within it. Each collage is constructed through folds that allow the compositions to be opened and reconfigured, producing multiple image relationships rather than a single fixed arrangement. What begins as the familiar gesture of leafing through a magazine becomes a method of image-making, where photographs continuously align, separate, and recombine. By physically manipulating the pages, viewers activate new visual narratives while exposing the editorial structures that originally organized them. The series consists of nine cardboard collages, each measuring 20 × 24 cm.
