Estima-se que 90% do planeta já tenha sido indexado pelas ferramentas de geolocalização do Google usando dados e imagens gerados por câmeras 360º. Como um terreno informativo, o Google Street View é criado a partir de um empilhamento de informações e registros sobre lugares, um espaço aberto onde qualquer pessoa pode colaborar, literalmente, com o registro de seus arredores. Essa indexação informa e altera nossa percepção dos lugares. Pós-paisagens apresenta uma série de 41 colagens feitas a partir de uma coleção de imagens coletadas na plataforma, que foram retrabalhadas digitalmente, removidas de seus contextos e reagrupadas para formar novos contextos e materialidades, criando horizontes abstratos. Este livro conclui a trilogia que também inclui os livros VVVoyeur (2022) e Unportraits (2021)

It is estimated that 90% of the planet has already been indexed by Google’s geolocation tools using data and images generated by 360º cameras. Like an informational terrain, Google Street View is created from a pile of information and records about places, an open space where anyone can collaborate, literally, with the record of their surroundings. This indexing both informs and alters our perception of places. Post-Paysages presents a series of 41 collages that were made from a collection of images gathered from the platform, which were then digitally reworked, removed from their contexts and regrouped to form new contexts and materialities creating abstract horizons. This book concludes the trilogy that also includes the books VVVoyeur (2022) and Unportraits (2021).
